Busy Busy!
We have a lot going in the shop right now. We are almost done with the sprucing up of CB550 #001. After that, we have a tank build to do for another CB550, some café treatment to a BMW, and a brat style build with an XS650. We may also be using 3 of our […]
Cone Engineering…where exhaust isn’t just a pipe dream!
We found Cone Engineering while searching for a good stainless steel bends provider. We didn’t realize they had so much stuff! All of the tubing used for the Blackwing exhaust was purchased there, as well as the mufflers. Speak with Rich for specific questions and in no time you will have what you need! www.coneeng.com […]
Dime City Cycles….has it all!
We worked a lot with Dime City Cycles for our Blackwing Bike. There are many of their parts on the bike. We are also using them for the rejuvenation of our first CB550…#001.
Meyerbuilt is using Pro-Tools equiment!
We have always had a Pro-Tools tubing bender in the shop. The current one was fabricated in house and used Pro-Tools Dies. Now we have a fully built model from them with two different dies! We got the MB-105 and couldn’t be happier! Check them out, and talk to James Mason. He will get you […]
CB350 project Done!
Check out Meyerbuilt Metalworks on Facebook for some pictures of the newest project I finished. Wonderful little CB350, we did a custom seat/tail, custom stainless exhaust, and a license plate bracket. Can’t wait to see how the owner likes it!
CB550 cafe racer…sold
It’s a bittersweet day, but more sweet than bitter! A buyer approched me about the CB a few days ago and has become the new owner of it! I’m excited for him and his fiance, can’t wait to see them enjoy the bike as much as I have! Thanks David!
Parts and Things
We’ve had questions about the turn signals on the CB550. We’re offering them to the masses starting at $90 for the 2 1/8″ light version. They come ready to wire up and mount with a 5/16″ threaded end. Choice of amber or red light, can also specify length from 2 1/8″ to 4.5″. Prices increase […]
Meyerbuilt in 2012 Miracle Ride for Riley Hospital
Sunday was the Miracle Ride for Riley. My Dad and I got to take part in the charity ride. Over 4,000 bikes were there! We stuck out like sore thumbs amongst all the HD’s, but it was cool. I recommend everyone doing something like this once in their lives.
Meyerbuilt hits the web emagazine scene!
Check out Good Spark Garage and Iron and Air for their features of the CB550! Really nice write-ups and pictures.
New Project in the Works
A customer recently dropped off their XS650 for a little cafe tail treatment. We’re going to do a tail/seat combo Meyerbuilt style. I will post more as I progress. Stay tuned!!
